We would greatly appreciate donations of the following items:
Accommodation for individuals under the influence or at risk of overdose is offered nightly and available on a first come first served basis. This harm reduction focused program opens nightly at 10pm and closes at 8am.
A limited number of mats are available during the day for anyone who needs a safe place to sleep.
Beds area available for men and women in need of short term emergency shelter. Once you are checked in, your bed is yours until you check out. Cot residents can access their bed and the main lounge throughout the day.
The 2nd and 3rd floors of Wapiti House accommodates individuals who are low income and have barriers to housing resulting from mental health symptoms or substance use. Onsite support for residents is provided in partnership with Alberta Health Services.
Supportive housing is available by referral only.
Our substance-free transitional residence provides a safe and supportive temporary home for individuals who are work-ready, transitioning to or from a recovery program, or new to the community and awaiting their first paycheck to secure their own housing. Staffed 24/7, the residence promotes accountability through regular drug and alcohol testing. Our 10 residents pay rent, contribute to maintaining the residence, and have access to trauma counseling, cultural support workers, and addictions counselors.
The Saint Lawrence Centre (SLC) is a crucial daytime drop-in program offering essential survival support to individuals experiencing homelessness or lacking adequate daytime shelter. Serving up to 85 people daily, the SLC provides basic comforts like washrooms, showers, laundry services, WIFI, and a safe place to rest, all delivered with compassion and care.
